Noel Paul’s Brook Bridge Installation

Proponent:  Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro

Summary of Environmental Assessment Process

Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to construct a bridge across Noel Paul’s Brook in central Newfoundland approximately 30 kilometres south of Millertown.  Installation of the bridge will allow for improved accessibility to the road link between the Ebbegunbaeg Control Structure and the Buchans to Bader highway and also allow access which would be otherwise prohibited due to high water levels in the watercourse.   Bridge construction, including tendering, pre-engineered bridge fabrication, on-site civil works and bridge installation will take approximately 20 weeks to complete and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2016.
