Summary of Environmental Assessment Process

Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal to construct a single lane access road to his recreational cottage at Second Pond in the Trinity North area. This two-and-a-half kilometre access road will connect the existing Burgoyne’s Cove forestry access road to the cottage site on Second Pond. Work on the access is scheduled to begin upon approval and take one month to complete.

  • July 19, 2011 - The undertaking was registered.
  • August 25, 2011 - Public comments are due.
  • September 2, 2011 - The Minister's decision is due.
  • September 6, 2011 - The Minister announced that the project is released.
